Chain Guard Food Grade Lubricants Announces Updates to Formula 600 NSF H1-CFIA Food Grade High Temperature Multi-Purpose Synthetic Aerosol Spray Lubricant

Chain Guard® Industrial Lubricants is pleased to announce the updates made to their Formula 600 Food Grade High Temperature Multi-Purpose Synthetic Aerosol Spray Lubricant. These updates will provide safer methods of H1 lubricant application and will enable Formula 600 users to apply Formula 600 Food Grade Lubricant from a further distance.

Formula 600 is a superior multi-purpose high temperature food grade aerosol synthetic oil fortified with anti-wear additives and oxidant inhibitors that optimize lubricant performance and offers long lasting protection. It has a high flash point & recommended operating temperature range of -25°C to 315°C (-13°F to 599°F). In addition, to the CFIA acceptance, Formula 600 is NSF H1 food grade registered and is acceptable for use in and around food processing areas.

While the Formula 600 Food Grade High Temperature Multi-Purpose Synthetic Aerosol Spray Lubricant's product remains the same, the Formula 600 can design upgrade is more in line with Chain Guard's brand development. After analyzing client feedback, Chain Guard decided to update Formula 600 to become even more powerful than it was before. The Formula 600 design upgrade features Chain Guard's updated branding and company colors. Along with the design upgrade, Formula 600 now features a more ergonomic can. This update was to accommodate the requests of many Chan Guard clients over the years.

The Updated Formula 600 can also includes improvements to our actuator (button). Given that the old formula 600 button is a style that was developed in 1960-1970’s era, the update to the Formula 600 button was needed to further accommodate the modern needs of food processing facilities. The request came as a result of industrial bakeries wanting a “comfort button” that is more reliable, durable and in operations where there are many moving parts, a can that can be safer to use from farther to reach areas. The updated actuator in the new Formula 600 can provides a more powerful spray that can be used for hard to reach areas without having to put hands/arms in high risk locations and pinch points. The new comfort button releases a more intense amount of product and thus allows the spray pattern to be more targeted, and thus the user can use less lubricant by holding the button down for less time.
