Chain Guard® FOODGEAR CG-FG-GL-H1 food grade gear lubricant series is 100% fully synthetic lubricants specially formulated and blended from premium polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oils, complete with advanced additives to improve seal and gasket characteristics. This food grade gear oil is formulated to provide superior lubrication for the most challenging industrial gear system applications in baking, confection, food processing, meat & poultry processing, pharmaceutical, beverage, bottling, canning, and many more food processing applications.
The gear series is designed for a wide range of industrial gear applications where NSF H1 incidental food contact regulations are enforced.
The series offers a wide viscosity index, allowing for proper protection at various wide temperature ranges. The series provides a very low pour point, and has superior compatibility with seals, plastics, paints, and elastomers.
